Club Guvnor to Host Moses Matovu Tribute Night Today

Club Guvnor is hosting a special Friday Night Live tribute to legendary Ugandan musician Moses Matovu today, Friday, September 25, bringing together music lovers for an evening of live music, remembrance and solidarity.

The tribute will celebrate Matovu’s decades-long contribution to Uganda’s music industry and his lasting legacy through Afrigo Band and his music.

Organisers say 100% of the proceeds will go to Matovu’s family, making the event not only a celebration of his life but also an opportunity to support his loved ones.

The tribute starts at 9:00pm at Club Guvnor, with entry set at Shs50,000.

Fans and fellow musicians are expected to gather to celebrate the man, remember the music and support the family.
